Is this how The CBC competes with social media?

Is this how The CBC responds to being “scooped” by bloggers and twitter? With a one line “story” closed to comments? If so, they are missing the point.


  1. They are still upgrading their servers. There was an article posted about it a few weeks ago. They stated that they will have the comments up and running on most articles “shortly”, however it has been several weeks. I guess time will tell.
