Mint Canada Fail

In this week’s episode of Canadian Tech Roundup I touched on the fact that mint.com has not done one bit of Canadian localization. I’m really disappointed that we had to wait 4 years for a Canadian version of the product, only to receive something that hasn’t been localized. Anyways here’s an example of the kind of thing I’m talking about. This is the header of last week’sĀ financialĀ statement email I received. We don’t have 401(k)s, I have no idea what an IRA is and I’m not even sure that we have a direct equivalent. In other words, the “tip” is irrelevant.
