Yesterday I watched a 10 minute video of an HD camera tethered to a weather balloon as it climbed to 100,000ft then plummeted back to Earth. The video was a lot of spinning and whooshing. I got through all 10 minutes of that video. I could not even get through the first minute of this video without feeling nauseated.

Among other things, it’s interesting to see how much the web has changed in the last 8 years. If I’m not mistaken, cnn actually dropped to a “low bandwidth,” less cluttered version to handle all the traffic during the crisis. Archive.org records before 9/11 show a slightly heavier site. It’s 2009, I can’t believe I just had to send this email. When you add recipients to the “CC” list you expose all recipients email addresses to everyone else on the list.
